Do you think you are safe? Do you think that nobody is listening to you; think again!!!

Today’s post is again about Mentalism, because like what I said, aside from being a part-time precisionist of magic I also practice that craft called MENTALISM, and as a part mentalist, I am trying to learn how to listen and manipulate once inner thought.

This is actually a special post about a good friend whom I’ve met in TSC (The Story Circle) way back 2009 when I was still in the Philippines, he is a Mentalist and a self confess Psychic and Medium, meaning he don’t just read your thoughts but also can talk to dead people, hmmm!!! I know you’re now becoming sceptics now, well it’s ok! We’re used to it.

His name is Nomer Lasala a.k.a Mind Master, he is one of Philippines best mentalist and a certified mind reader, psychic, medium, call it whatever you want but it’s all the same, it’s his profession, his passion and specialist, Nomer at young age has already showing his talent which eventually put him to the list of the Casino’s unwanted people, he was banned and not allowed to enter in any of the Casinos in the Philippines, because of the fact that he can be able to read mind.

Frankly speaking, at first I really don’t believe in such thing called mind reading, but when I met him most specially seen his performance live, that’s the only time I’ve convinced myself to believe that there are things in this world that certainly can't be explained, to read once mind is nothing but a fairy tales but this guy proves it to be real, he has a very strong knowledge about this craft and a very convincing method.

I couldn’t forget when he performed to Ali Sotto on his own show in GMA 7 called “Mind Master” where in during the segment he demonstrated his talent of being a part medium, I can’t explain in full details how he did that because it’s already exploitation but all I can say is that, during the session he tried to talk to the soul of the late Miko Sotto, he actually tried to talks to the dead soul of the son of Ali Sotto and as we all know Ali Sotto will not engage in any stupid or scripted act that involves her son and she was there right in front of Nomer when Nomer tried to connect with the spirit of Miko.

Being a Mentalist is not easy, you’ll get a lot of negative comments and a lot of haters, when I chatted with Nomer through Facebook chat and asked him if it’s ok with him if I’ll write a blog about him, this is what he answered to me.

It’s true ladies and gentlemen, he has a lot of haters, but Nomer is a very professional player, he does not take it personally, he just ignores it and focus his attention to much important thing to do.

Nomer is one of Philippines' leading mentalist & arguably the best in his time.

There are phenomena between heaven and earth that can be explained,

He is none of them. Nomer loves to keep himself busy, an ardent hobbyist, he used to be in a band as a vocalist / keyboardist, plays basketball and he used to be a track and field athlete back in College.

As a Mentalist, he possess the ability to figure out what people are thinking and he can influence one's thoughts, being a performer for almost 1/3 of his life, He loves seeing the amazement in the eyes of his spectators and for him that is priceless.

Card Mentalism

Oh yeah!!! Magic time… this was filmed last October 2010…

This is one best example of Metalism Card Magic, I was asked to show them some tricks and as usual every time I am asked to do that, I always show them different card magic and this would be my closing act.

This is very simple and you too can follow.

Here are the RULES.

I'm gonna show him 10 random cards from the deck.

He must choose one.

He must not say it all he need is to think about that card.

He must also remember to which chronological order his card belong.

That's all he needs to do.

Mental Assassin: Justin Pinon

Justin Pinon A.K.A Mental Assassin is on HOT SEAT again, this time as a contestant in Pilipinas Got Talent, he is known for his ability to read your mind and manipulate your decisions and behaviour. He claims that he possesses neither supernatural powers nor psychic abilities. He can figure out what you are thinking through the use of Psychology, his expertise at body language reading, hypnosis, suggestion and showmanship.

He had been featured as guest stars in different Pinoy Tv Shows such as Rated K, Sweet Life with Lucy Torres, Kalye and 3 special episodes at Ruffa and Ai where he repeatedly astounded the audience, hosts and crew with his performances. He also gained a big reputations in Philippines paranormal activity when an online Filipino network called Flippish.com featured him and give him a special online Metalism Act, in his Special Show he did not just show his talent but also boasted that Filipinos can also do the same what International Artist can do.

He also performs at hotels, corporate events, media events, social gatherings, government events and private parties, where he has performed for influential people like Henry Sy, Richard Gordon, and other famous celebrities, and this allowed him to be recognized by FHM, and just recently the said Magazine featured him on their FHM website.

Justin is an open minded person who believes that he is still in the stage of learning his chosen art, he believes that learning is a continuous process, despite his achievements in the Art he still remained humble person, approachable and friendly.

As one who study this art, I am so honored to meet him in person, mayasa ako at minsan sa buhay ko ay “NAKADAUPANG PALAD KO ANG ISANG JUSTIN PINON”.


He is also a proud member of the group called The Story Circle., this is where I met him together with some Filipino Brand Name like Nomer, Cakit and Carlo, these three mentalist are just few names you’ll meet when you visit the gathering of the TSC held every 6pm of Saturday at Starbucks Ali Mall.

What he did in the PGT show was not easy, just to elaborate things to you I would like to say that I already saw few of his performance live “Right in front of my eyes” and I can really say that it is very extraordinary.

I am also practicing this craft and really it is not easy to master this, you really have to devote a lot of times and effort, just like MAGIC, you have to practice all the time, but in mentalism, it’s different, you have to have a strong command a will to learn the basic to advance, there is a lot of readings and self steaming, as what Cakit said “Ask you self WHY”.

Why do you want to learn this art? Are you ready? Because being a mentalist is not easy, you must accept all the circumstances that come with it, that is why, I kept my self of being hooked up with this craft, but I am still practicing some few techniques.

Anyway, there is a lot to say about Justin Pinon, but I think in this video showing his performance on what we called Remote Viewing Methods in Pilipinas Got Talent will speak and describe him best.
