Along his way Santiago then encounters a lone alchemist who tells about personal legends. The alchemist state that "Those who don't understand their personal legends will fail to comprehend its teachings." He now feels unsure about himself as he listens to the alchemist's teachings.

Personal:
The story of Santiago reflect to my personal life, my agenda and my point of views, I am a traveler and a treasure hunter, I have been hunting my happiness ever since, chasing the successful part of my life, I have encounter different types of people and some of them had played significant role in my life, they have taught me a lot of things, in this book I’ve learned that there is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve; the fear of failure we have to be brave all the time, it doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop.
“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”

it doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop. Favorite ko yan. Sabi yan ni Lolo Confucius. I never read that book. I am more into reading self-help book right now and have two pendings right there on my bookshelf but with your recommendation, I'll go find that book.
ReplyDeleteAnu ba yan serious, parang hindi ako sanaya Al. hahaha! Genun talaga, dapat minsan madapa, at lahat tayo dumaan, dumadaan, at dadaan diyan no matter what. Di ka nag-iisa, andito kami pre, mga nadapa din, pero determiandong bumangon. Huwag mo hanapin si "Hapiness", ang hanapin mo si "Felicity".
