When we say Magic it must be a showcase of different talent and performances, TSC is perhaps one of the most popular underground magic groups in the Philippines, and it is composed of group of youngster who shares the same interest. Tickets are sold for 150 Pesos only. Don't miss the fun.
The Classic Pass – it is one of the oldest card sleights ever invented, and considered to be one of the most important techniques, the classic pass is older than any man alive today, it was first describe in the mid-18th century, then in 1876 it illustrated in Hoffman‘s Modern Magic, since then the classic pass has become an essential to card sleights, it has many variation, some of these are called, jiggle pass, riffle pass, brick pass and so on and so forth.
In my video, I used a little of jiggle pass and my personal touch to the pass, I first learned this technique way back 2005, but I only begun practicing it last November 2011, I was looking for new staff when I remember this move, so I immediately grab my deck and begun practicing.
The Classic Pass – once done correctly is considered to be one of the most invisible card sleights, it is also an effective card controls, manipulations, and sometime can also be used as color change, the classic pass is an angle prone, so you must know your right angle, and is done without notice.
After several months of practicing... I finally got the guts to upload it... I know it’s not yet polished and smooth... but still I uploaded it... because I know this is the only way for me to know if I improved or not, your comment really mean a lot.
I sometimes wonder how lucky I am to have such friend like Justin Piñon, imagine, he is one of the finest mentalist in the Philippines but yet he remained humble to befriend with me, who am I? whew…, I am happy and proud to post this blog to inform everyone that he (Justin Piñon) has done it again, he continuously surprised us with his amazing skills and ability to read minds, and now he is up again to show us his talent, and once again proved that he is one of the best there is in the Philippines in his chosen path.

It has been like four months since I heard that Erik Mana is back on the street to show his amazing skills and talent in magic, but yet due to lack of knowledge about the show, I am not sure if this rumors are for TV or for one of his live shows in Broadway Theater.

Erik Mana's third installment of his magic TV specials will air on ABS CBN on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 10:45pm.
'Believe' will feature Erik Mana's latest magical explorations including cardistry and Hellstromism. Also part of the show are some of Erik's friends who will display their own skillful talents in mnemonics, cardistry and street magik.

Daryl (born August 13 1955) A.K.A Daryl Martinez or Daryl Easton, an American magician based in Las Vegas. For common people he is just nobody but for Magicians he is known as “The Magician's Magician." Daryl usually goes by his forename only. He specializes in card tricks, close-up and parlor magic.
Twoof his most famous contributions to magic are the "Hot Shot Cut", a knuckle-busting sleight where the spectator's chosen card spins like a boomerang out of the deck, and the "Ultimate Ambition" trick which allows a card to be inserted fairly into the middle of a deck and yet appear back on top.
Darylbegin practicing magic at the age of seven when his friend gave him a deck of card which allows him to perform several tricks using that card, he then began thinking what are the other possibility he could do with this card, at first he only shows his talent to his family and friends but later he then perform on the street and night clubs.

At the age of 18 he perform in an exhibition held by the Kaiser Aluminum company, it was well received by audience and he began to travel with the company to perform at their exhibition. In 1999 and 2000 Daryl and his magician wife, Alison, toured the world with Daryl's "New Millennium World Tour Lecture". They lectured and performed in over 250 cities in 25 different countries.
He also performed in the 2001 inauguration celebration of President George W. Bush. He performed and held numerous magic lectures in Japan, including in February 1882, March 1983, 1985, September 1990, 2000 and November 2005. Daryl performed as a headline act at Caesars Magical Empire, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas for 7 years before deciding in 2003 to move, along with his young family, to the Sierra Foothills of northern California. There he continues to write, invent and perform magic for both lay people and the magical community.
Daryl won the gold medal at FISM - the World Congress of Magic (the "Olympics" of Magic), in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1982, with a routine that included his now famous Ambitious Card Routine using the Ultimate Ambition. He has been awarded 6 Academy Awards from the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California (no one has earned more). Twice, his peers voted him Close-Up Magician of the Year (1980 and 1981), twice as Parlour Magician of the Year (1986 and 1987), and twice as Lecturer of the Year (1988 and 1992). The list goes on and on with victories in every major competition he has entered. More recently he was voted one of the 100 most influential magicians of the 20th century by Magic Magazine.
He is well known to magicians as the presenter of many teach-in video series for L&L Publishing, including Daryl's Card Revelations, Encyclopedia of Card Sleights, FoolerDoolers, and Daryl's Ambitious Card Video. In addition to lecturing around the world, he also teaches individual and group lessons at his home. His wife, Alison Easton, was the first woman to be inducted into The Magic Circle.

After watching Daryl’s ACR performance, a question came to my senses “What If I would only have to perform one trick in my entire life what would it be and why?”
I guess my answer would be the same as Daryl Answer. The ACR (Ambitious Card Routine).
Ambitious Card Routine consist of endless phases and uses different sleight of hand and most of all, it is impromptu and requires no set up, just a regular deck of card and self confidence and you’re ready to go.
For me.... as one who also practice magic, I can say that Daryl is simply one of the best Magician ever live.
