Henry Cavill: The Man of Steel

 At last Warner Brothers have finally revealed, the New Superman Movie titled The Man of Steel have just issued some photo of Henry Cavill wearing the NEW (take note! “NEW”) as is NEWEST SUPERMAN Costume, it is way too far from what I expected or everyone else, because the newest suit or costume of Henry Cavill for his Superman Movie is a totally modified and revolutionized design from the classic out-fit of larger than life Superhero character.

Ultimate Superman 2000

I think the suit is an adaptation of the newest Superman Costume from DC Comics that came out early this year, but I am not curtained about it, and also there is another DC Comic that features Superman with a red-black-blue combination, it came out early 2000 (Note it was only a plan of DC to reboot the superman comic but it was cancelled right away).

I admit when I first saw the suit I said to myself WTF, because he really look like stupid wearing that kind of costume, but later on I thought that it’s kind’ a cool, when I notice the new changes they made for the new costume. Ok Lets define the suit point by point.

1^st The Cape – Of all the reviews I’ve read, it only point to one conclusion, Zack Snyder wanted to do some CGI effect with the cape to make it look stunning and more dramatic in effect, that’s cool.

2^nd The Neck – In the previous Superman Return Movie, the suit was a round neck tights, but in Henry Cavill’s Superman Movie it is something large round and I think it’s better this way compare from the previous one.

3^rd The “S” – At last it’s as big as the name of the character, the S on his chest is a little larger compared to the other costume of Superman, when you look at it, it seems to be he is saying, Look I am Superman.

4^th The Trunks – Weow!!!! I can’t find it, although some of the picture leakage you can see that he is still wearing trunks or brief, but in most of the pictures he doesn’t have any trunks on, and I think this is really what make it cool.

5^th The Belt – Again, I didn’t see him wearing any belt and for me it’s find, they just put some kind of a metallic design emboss on it, and that’s what make it super cool.

6^th The Boots – I like, I like, I like, I like. Now its high cut.

7^th The Tights – In the previous Superman Return Movie, the suit is made up a special garment that when you look closely to it you would find that it is mark with tiny “S” all around his body, it is only visible with the naked eyes when you look closely to it. But in the new Superman Movie: The man of Steel, the suit is made up of a very special fabric similar to the suit of the new Spiderman Movie, the suit look’s more futuristic and artistic, I think this is better, because Superman is not from our planet so he most have a very unique suit made up from a very fine fabric or garment.

8^th The Looks – Above all things, when you choose for someone to play the role of somebody, you must first realize if that person is suitable to play the role of that certain character, and for me, Henry Cavill is more than enough for the character, he is really a good looking guy, with a very manhood impression, good body, height and he has the resemblance to the late Christopher Reeve.

All in All, I think I really like that new Superman Suit, although it is almost 100% modified but still for me, it is the best.

Superman Teaser

Yes!!! You are right… your eyes is not lying to you, he is not Christopher Reeve, he is Henry Cavill the new actor who will play Superman, I made this last night because I can’t wait to see him wearing those popular red caped costume.

This is just a teaser I made for Superman.

I was so amazed, after I finish editing his pictures, he really look good as Superman, wow!!! And above all that, he has about 80-90 percent resemblance of the late Christopher Reeves, well that is only my perceptions… ehehhehe… make your own blog about him if you don’t agree.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Oh Yeah!!! Better late than never, last timed I have promised that I will unmask some secrets to the new Spider-Man Movie which will be release on July 03, 2012, but because I was busy doing other stuff,, haha, I was late. Anyway here are my updates.

The world web spinning is up again to climb your wall and save helpless innocent in the hand of danger, and this time it’s not Tobey Maguire who will play this, but rather the one who plays Eduardo Saverin in the 2010 movie The Social Network and that is none other than Andrew Garfield, he was introduce to media by Sony Pictures as the newest star to play the role of the Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman on 2009.

In this upcoming Spectacular Spiderman Movie, we will trace back the life and story of Peter Parker as the underdog high school superhero, in this film he will meet Gwen Stacy, and will face Dr. Curt Connors as The Lizard. For those who don’t know, Gwen Stacy was the first love of Peter Parker and not Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy was killed by Green Goblin in one of their fight.

Dr. Curt Connor in the other hand is a Military Surgeon who loses his arm in the battle field, he then became a researcher and was obsessed in reptile regenerating ability, he studied reptilian biology extensively to uncover its secret, he became successful with his experiment to regenerate the amputated or the missing limb of a rabbi, despite the warnings of his wife Martha Dr. Connor chose to test it on himself. He succeeded in his plan but the formula has a side effect, Connors was subsequently transformed into a reptilian humanoid monster.

In the movie, Peter Parker will meet Flash Thompson, the high school football star who loves to bullies him but ironically adore Spider-Man; he was a victim of cruelty and abused by his alcoholic Dad which turned him to become bullies.

Costume:

I’m kind of disappointed with the costume, for me it doesn’t look nice...  but it’s ok, because I know Spider-Man has a lot of costume, in this film his costume is something like a modified version of the original costume of Spider-Man, it is darker in lines. And it is made from Something likes a fabric plastic garment, I am not sure, but if you look closely.. You can tell.

Notice his wrist; it has something like a watch or something like ahhh! Are you saying that this is a web shooter gadget? Very nice, but my main concern is that it’s too big and it’s too obvious but it’s ok. (Peter Parker is a boy genius; he designed his web shooter gadget in order for him to spin around the buildings). I can’t wait to see his web shooter.

Shoes: The shoe of Spider-Man has silver on it. I am not used to it, but again its ok and its fine with me. Spidey has a lot of costumes.

The Spider Logo in his chest, it’s black and it’s like they painted it to his suit. Nice one for this.

Personal:

I think this will become a very spectacular movie event of the year when it will be release, the fact that they seems to follow the real story of spider-man and that they did not change anything on it, I must say that this got to be a movie worth waiting and watching for in the wide screen. I hope that it will be release in theatre during my vacation next year; I won’t hesitate to spend money just to watch it on iMAX.

Trivia:

Gwen Stacy was the plainly first love of Peter Parker but Mary Jane was the longest he had relationship with, they even got married and got a daughter who in later time becomes the Spider-Girl.

In the 2007 Spider-Man 3, Gwen Stacy appears in the film, she was the model who fell from the building which was rescued by Spider-Man, and later in the film she gave Spider-Man the award of appreciations.

In the 2002 Spider-Man movie, Flash Thompson was the High School boyfriend of Mary Jane Watson, if you have seen that movie he was the one who punched Peter Parker in the locker area during the transition of Peter Parker to Spider-Man.

In the 2002 film of Spider-Man, instead of giving Spider-Man a web shooter gadget, they make it something like a bio-genetic web shooter that comes from his arms.

Miguel O’Hara became the Spider-Man in the Marvel 2099 comics.

In the early editions of Marvel Comics, Peter Parker was bitten by radioactive spider, but Director Sam Raimi changed it to Biogenetic Engineered Spider.

Thor: The God of Thunder

This is just an update  to my blog entry about the Movie Thor, Yes!!! At last… The waits is over, I finally watched it, THOR the god of Thunder was finally released.

Aside from the movies that I’ve mentioned in my previous post, I also watched the Movie THOR, wow, what can I say about this movie, well, it’s worth watching for, the movie was good, the sequence and time line of the story is so realistic. I like their approach to Thor’s story.

The story was simple, his father was Odin the god of Asgard who won many battles, he was supposed to be the next in line to the throne, but the problem is he is so arrogant and doesn't have any key marks to be the next god of Asgard, so his father sent him to earth to learn from human, and took his powerful and indestructible hammer and curse it that only he who is ready that can carry it and use it as a weapon.

Then along his Journey here on earth he met his special love ones, she is Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) an Astrophysicist who turn his life upside down, she’s the one who change his attitude and the one who make him swear to be humble all the time.

Then while on earth, Thor’s brother Loki found out about his real identify, he was not a son of Odin and doesn’t have any relationship with him in any means, Odin found him after he battles Giant Frost, Laufey his real father kept him because he is ashamed of his small-size, Odin took him and raised him as his son alongside his biological son Thor.

When Loki learned the his past he did everything just to overtake the throne from his foster parents and kills the god of Thunder Mighty Thor.

And so the story starts here.

Trivia:

Did you know that as a god Thor is known as The God of Thunder and as a human he is known as Doctor Donald Blake.

Did you know that in the Marvel Comics Jane Foster is a nurse working for Doc. Donald Blake and they fell in loved to each other.

Did you know that in the second volume of Thor Comics they introduce Jane Foster as a doctor; she is in a position of authority over several New York paramedics.

In the Movie Thor Jane Foster is an Astrophysicist instead of a nurse or a doctor.

Jane Foster real name was Jane Nelson.

Green Lantern

Unlike the other superheroes we’ve known Green Lantern is one of the most prominent league of super heroes, there are hundreds of them, and six of them was from Earth, each of that Green Lantern poses a magical ring which able them to control over the physical world as long as they have the willpower.

The First Green Lantern was Allan Scott, he was an Engineer, a Metal Lantern spoke to him and told him that he can used it and it would brim power, he forge it to ring and uses it to fight against crime, the thing is the ring must be recharge or else it will lose its power, he must touch it to the lantern every 24 hours.

The second was Hal Jordan, a test Pilot, this time they change the story and plot of the Green Lantern, Abin Sura one of the Green Lantern spoke to him and told him he will poses a Magical Ring and became of the Green Lantern Corp, he must used it to fight against crime he will become a member of the Intergalactic Force overseen by immortals called as The Guardians of the Universe.

Personal:

- I like him very much compare to John Stewart, the Black guy from The Justice League, he is serious and more silent compare to Hal Jordan who is more cool and outspoken.

I really like watching Green Lantern because of the kind of power he has, I like his identity specially Hal Jordan, good thing they chose the character of Hal to appear in the Movie Version.

- There are 6 of them from Earth who became a member of the Green lantern, and these are Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, Guy Garndner, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner and Jade.

- In the upcoming Green Lantern Movies, Ryan Raynold will play the Character of Hal Jordan, the Second EarthLink who becomes a member of the Green Lantern.

Thor

At last here he is, THOR The god of THUNDER, the mightiest of them all, Donald M. Blake is the son of Odin Lord of Asgard…

The Legend of Thor is based from the Norse mythology, he is the son of Odin lord of the Asgardian gods and Gaea an earth goddess, he was sent to earth for him to learn and accept his task, his Father Odin remove his memory of being a god and now he must find his way back home. As a man he was known as Donald Blake.

Donald Blake’s source of power is some sort of a Hammer called Mjolnir, it was forged from the Asgardian Metal and is believe to be extremely durable weapon, the Hammer when strike to rock would turn Donald Blake to Mighty Thor the god of Thunder, it is also believe that the hammer can only be lift by those who has a good moral character and right conducts and with a great integrity, it was also believe that the only mortal who lifted the hammer was Captain America and there was also one rumors that was Ironman who lifted it, The hammer can summon the elements wind, rain, thunder, and lightning for the wielder to use at their discretion, it is also believe that the hammer can open portals or gateway to other planet or places, it has also the ability of time travelling but Immortus removed it.

Thor was created by Stan Lee the Father of Marvel Comics, it was stated that Stan Lee said “How do you make someone stronger than the strongest (referring to Hulk or maybe to some other Superhero from Kypton, Joke), he said don’t make him human – make him a god.”



Personal!

I remember watching Marvel Comics strip when I was still a child, I really enjoy watching those superhero character moving in fancy motion, I really don’t know how to describe it, but it’s really like you are reading a comics book in television, it jump from one scene to another scene, from one motion to another motion, I can still remember the golden age of Marvel Comics.

I am excited to watch this movie because I haven’t seen any of Mighty Thor Movie, except in cartoon, and also I only have about 4 comics book of him.

I am excited because Marvel is now slowly introducing the members of the Avenger.

In Ironman 2 they have this scene of a group of U.S. Secret Agent found a Hammer in a big crater, then the camera role and revealed it’s a hammer, I believe that the Hammer belongs to Thor.

The Man of Steel

Henry Cavill

I heard that they are planning to do a new Superman Movie, well that’s great, I just hope this time they will do it correctly, starting from the costume of Superman to the story line, honestly speaking the last Superman Movie entitled Superman Return starring Brandon Routh wasn’t that impressive.

1st The Cape - it should be RED not scarlet RED, and it should be light not heavy.

2nd The Tights – it should not be ROUND NECK, it must be something like large Round, something like a Sabrina style.

3rd The “S” – ok there is no problem with the new style of the Superman Signature Logos but at least make it a little larger than it was.

4th The Trunks – it’s like a boxer short.

5th The Belt – ok, I like the Belt specially with S on it, I used to draw Superman like that. Ehehehhe..

6th The BOOTS – High Cut Boots with no hills that’s what Superman wears.

All in all I think they need a 95% major renovation on the Superman Costume.

I also heard that they already have a new torch bearer for the new Superman Installation, and that guy is Henry Cavill (ok what do I know about him? NONE), I just heard that he is the first choice to play Edward for the Movie Adoption of Twilight. Ok I don’t have a problem with that, I think he is more interesting than Brandon Routh (Oh Excuse me for those who Ador him) I like Bradon Routh but it’s just that he is not the type of Superman thing, I admit he has a resemblance of the late Christopher Reeves, and most of the critics and expert in anime said that he really has the great look and portrayal of the official Superman CGI, But for me he doesn’t really born to be the Superman Icon, maybe because I grew up watching Christopher Reeves as Superman, for me Superman must have the real gentleman look, someone you can really count on, masculine with strong personality not a boyish looks, this is why for me Brandon Roth is not the type of Superman, he is too sweet to be the MAN OF STEEL.

Zack Snyder to direct the New Superman?

That's cool, Zack Snyder is the Director of 300, Watchmen and one of my ever favorite Horror movie Dawn of the Dead, I don’t have any problem with him, I just hope he’ll correct the mistake done from the previous Superman Movies, and I believe in him, most specially he said that they are doing everything they could to make the movie realistic.

Ok. Christopher Nolan, The brain behind the Batman Begins and The Dark Knights, yeah, another of the cool aspect why we have to wait for the new Superman Movies.

As a kid I grew up watching Superman from Cartoon to live action, I remember my Aunt would bring me to the Theater to watch Superman, I can even remember some of the lines when Superman and Lois Lane first meet up.

Lois Lane Fell from a crashing Helicopter then came Superman to the rescue.

Lois Lane is shout while on mid air “Eiieaaaaahhhhhh”

Superman smiling “Ooopppss I got you!!”

Lois Lane “You me!!! Who Got you?”

Yeahhhh… Cool…

I am excited to watch this new Superman Movie. I really hope and whish that this time they’ll make it right.



Trivia!!!

1. What is Superman’s Real Name?

Wrong!!! His real name is Efren.

After they flew Lois Lane asked him “What is your name?” Superman then replied “Efren” ehehhe. But that was only a joke I remember from my childhood, what Superman really said was “A Friend”.
