The Classic Pass – it is one of the oldest card sleights ever invented, and considered to be one of the most important techniques, the classic pass is older than any man alive today, it was first describe in the mid-18th century, then in 1876 it illustrated in Hoffman‘s Modern Magic, since then the classic pass has become an essential to card sleights, it has many variation, some of these are called, jiggle pass, riffle pass, brick pass and so on and so forth.
In my video, I used a little of jiggle pass and my personal touch to the pass, I first learned this technique way back 2005, but I only begun practicing it last November 2011, I was looking for new staff when I remember this move, so I immediately grab my deck and begun practicing.
The Classic Pass – once done correctly is considered to be one of the most invisible card sleights, it is also an effective card controls, manipulations, and sometime can also be used as color change, the classic pass is an angle prone, so you must know your right angle, and is done without notice.
After several months of practicing... I finally got the guts to upload it... I know it’s not yet polished and smooth... but still I uploaded it... because I know this is the only way for me to know if I improved or not, your comment really mean a lot.

loved by Pinoy Televiewers, she is just so so so so so so funny and indeed a
great entertainer, always on the go and game for any dare, she is not just beautiful

In her performance, you can see and hear
that everybody in the studio is cheering for her, everybody is laughing, maybe they’re
only looking at the performance but they didn’t see how hard the performance was,
pero kinaya niya, just for the sake of Entertainment...
In this performance, she really showed us
that she is really one of the best entertainer ever, just imagine from pole
dancing to air dancing, singing while upside down then jump to an aquarium (I don’t
know how do you call it), wow, she is really the True UNKABOGABLE! Truly

Lastly I’d like to say it in TAGALOG, “SUPER
ASTIG NIYA”.... talagang pinapatuyan niya kung bakit siya ang may pinakamataas
na numebro ng followers sa Twitter, at talagang pinapatunayan niya kung bakit
siya sikat, hindi dahil sa maganda siya, hindi dahil sa magaling siyang umarte,
hindi dahil sa may album na siya, hindi dahil sa sexy siya, simple because siya
si ANN CURTIS, at magagawa niya ang hindi mo iniisip na magagawa niya, super
walang pake sa kung ano ang sasabihin ng iba... makapagpasaya lang ng tao.

Sinubukan ko lang paglaruan ang aking kakayahan sa pag-edit ng video, matagal ko na rin ito ginagawa, nagsimula akong matuto nito noong 2007 pa, pero ang gamit ko noon ay Windows Movie Maker, noong 2009 naman eh natutunan ko gamitin ang Sony Vegas Studio, pero sandali lang ako nag-aral noon at di ko na pinagtuunan ng pansin masyado, at ngayon ko lang ulit sinubukang gamitin ito.
Ginawa ko ito bilang lahok sana sa Saranggola BlogAwards, subalit hindi raw ito pwede ilahok ayun sa pamunuan ng nasabing patimpalak, kaya dali-dali ko namang inedit ito ulit at inalis ang parte kung saan eh binanggit ko ang Saranggola Blog Awards sa Video na enedit ko.
Ito ay kwento ng isang lalake na ayaw magbigay daan para sa kasiyahan ng iba, ito ay kwento ng isang lalake na gusto niya siya lang ang bida, ito ay kwento ng isang lalake na iniwan na ng kanyang kalaro, nasaktan, umiyak, lumaban, natalo, nadapa, bumangon, nakahanap ng ibang kalaro, isang kwento na magbibigay aral sa ating lahat.

It’s really a great day for me today, paano naman kasi, pagkagising ko kaninang umaga isang masayang post sa FB Wall ko agad ang nabasa ko, it’s Ysabelle, nagpost siya sa wall ko… natawa na ako agad ng mabasa ko ang notification ko na andun ang name niya, kasi alam kong may kalokohan na naman itong babaeng ito.
Twalalala… di nga ako nagkamali… may bago na nama siyang kalokohan, may knock knock daw siya para sa akin… eheheheh… ayun oh!!! Napabulalas ako agad sa kakatawa kahit di ko pa alam kung ano ang knock knock niya para sa akin, kasi alam kong matatawa talaga ako sa mga banat niya… di ba nasabi ko na sa blog ko na super kulit namin ng mga kasama ko sa Magic Group ko tuwing may gathering kami… at super nagpapalitan kami ng mga knock knock.. parang right of passage na nga yun sa amin eh.. kung wala kang joke eh magtiyaga ka sa kakatawa sa mga kakornihan namin… ehehehehe… kung di mo pa nabasa ang post kong iyo eh basahin modito.
Bago pa pinalabas ang “My Amnesia Girl” eh uso na sa amin ang Knock Knock Joke na yan at mga Banat Statement, if I may remember it was Hyzel who started the Joke… I forget already what was his first knock knock to us.. but if I am not mistaken I think it was Kang-kong, Mais Halaman, he is also well known for his memorable quotes “Hi I’m Yours”… weeee…
Nakatatak na sa isipan ko ang mga banat ng mga taga TSC (the Sharon cuneta show… eh este The Story Cirle pala….)… super naging Masaya ako sa grupong ito.. masasabi ko na there is no DULL moment kapag kasama ko sila… malaki ang naitulong nila sa akin.. lalo na sa madramang buhay ko, kaya naman ng mabasa ko na may knock knock si Ysabelle para sa akin… ayun oh… kandarapa agad ako sa panood… wala pa akong hilamos niyan… ahahaahha..
Usually kasi.. sa FB lang kami nagna knock knock.. pero kanina.. ng sagutin ko ang kanyang post eh sinabi niya sa akin na mamaya daw gagawa siya ng video pag kasama na niya si Tryck.. pero nag-insist ako na gumawa na siya sa office nila at ayun oh!!! Gumawa naman agad siya… ehehhehe… buti na lang game din ang mga kaopis niya….

In the world of Magic, I can say that Coin Magic is the hardest thing to practice, it does not only required great skills but also a time consuming practice, Coin Magic is considered to be one of the toughest but yet one of the most fascinating act, whenever I see magicians who can perform this magnificently I can’t help myself but to say “I WISH I WAS HIM”… this is one of my frustrations actually, my level of skill in card magic is not that extensive but I can say that I got a lot of tricks to show, but in Coin Magic, the only thing I know is the “Coin Vanish”… at least I know a little…. Ehehehhe…

I met this guy way back 2008, it was August I think, My Friend Robert Zapata is the one who introduce him to me, It was in Gateway, after that we went to Mega Mall and met some other Magicians and proceed to IMC (Inner Magic Club) meeting in Pepeton’s Grill and Restaurant, Mother Ignacia corner Scout Borromeo Streets, Quezon City (weow!!! I hope I got it right)., , 2009 was the second time we met up, it was in IMC again, he became one of my closest friend since then, ay sorry, mali pala, it was in Circle C Mall, Wednesday yun…. Kala mo hah…. I remember, iniwan kami ni Anthony sa Magic Shop nila kasi may Magic Competition sa IMC noon, tapos may bumili pa sa amin ng Magic Box,I was the one who performed the Demo since hindi alam gamitin ni Tong, After namin isara ang shop, sumunod kami kay Anthony sa IMC, but before that, nilibre ko pa siya sa Tropical Hut. Nyeheheheheh…
When I formally joined the TSC January of last year, he became one of my good friends, he always taught me some basic coin magic and guides me on how to practice it, in TSC his name is considered to be one of the foundations of TSC, not just he is good in Coin Magic but also a very supportive to the Club, he is still young and still has a lot to learn. He is one of the local magicians who always drives me crazy whenever I see them performing.
Have you heard about the show Magic Gimik? Ahahha.. Mok’s requested that my next post about magic would be something like Magic Gimik, but eventually, I don’t want to end up like Bearwin Meily who was granted by the Magicians Group the title of “Persona Non Grata” or in other words “Unacceptable or Unwelcome person” clickThisfor more details, because he hosted that show and revealed some of the Secret Code of Magicians, but anyway, this is not about him, but this is about Frederick Garcia, the show lasted only for about a month or so, I am not sure, but they eventually changed it to Magic Bagsik after they knew that there is a lot of protest from the Magicians Group in the Philippines and also in other country, and I am happy to say that TV5 is very sport when it comes to competitiveness, they did what they know is right and gave justice to all Magicians out there, they changed the format of the show and even changed the Title, instead of revealing the secret of Magic, they invites Local Magicians to perform in their shows and have at least a minute of fame on Televisions and one of the guests was Frederick Garcia.

Aside from being a Member of the Philippines Magicians Group called TSC (The Story Circle), I was also a certified member of the first Magicians Group in Zamboanga, it's called YSM (Young Society of Magicians), this group was originated in Zamboanga City on 2006, through the initiative of Robert Zapanta A.K.A Trebor Z, he is an iconic Member of the Zamboanga's Finest Dance Group Called The Moving Colors and he also manage his own business called Trebor Z Audio Visual, he is also one of the best Disc Jockey in Ground Zero Disco Music.
I first heard about YSM in 2007, I showed a card magic to these group of students and after I showed them Magic, they asked me if I am a member of YSM, I said no, but I am looking forward to join them, then I met Ken Fermo a.k.a. Ethan Sky one of the former RX Dream Radio DJ, he introduced me to Arafat a Muslim guy who is also a member of YSM, which in a later time I told him that I already knew him even before I met him because his cousin is one of my best buddy.
They asked me to join them and do some Auditions, nyehehehhe, of course I am willing to join them so I prepared myself for the upcoming auditions, I practice a lot. I dig the Internet to find source which I could used in my auditions. And on February 2008, the hardwork is paid. I passed the auditions and become a certified member of the first Magic Group in Zamboanga City.

This is one best example of Metalism Card Magic, I was asked to show them some tricks and as usual every time I am asked to do that, I always show them different card magic and this would be my closing act.
This is very simple and you too can follow.
Here are the RULES.
I'm gonna show him 10 random cards from the deck.
He must choose one.
He must not say it all he need is to think about that card.
He must also remember to which chronological order his card belong.
That's all he needs to do.

Since January of this year I have been practicing this card trick, trying my best to make it look good and natural, I have devoted a lot of time in practicing this effect, I spent about 30 minutes to 1 hour just to master it, and last week I felt like I needed to show it to other people, for me to be able to know where and what to improve.

I think this is the second Magic Video I made for this year in terms of card, I am always fascinated with this kind of effect, an effect of two different cards that would change places with each other, I know a lot of tricks like this, I don’t know why I am always interested with this kind of effect, maybe because I always wanted to be in different places all the time, or maybe because I want to exchange personalities with other people, I don’t know, But I can always say that even in the art called Magic, it would really reflect and express your self.
I am practicing magic more seriously than before, and I am happy that at least despite hectic schedule and busy days, I still have time to practice. Yeah!!!
Every Magic trick has a name and this effect is called "RESET" and was created by "Paul Harris", it’s one of the best and classic effect in card Magic, and Paul Harris is one of the few living legend in Magic Society.
"RESET" has a lot of variations, I like what Micheal Ammar did in one of his early Magic Videos, I based my routine from his approach and added my personal touch and there you are, my simple version of "RESET".
Magic is very easy to learn, all you need to have is determinations and endurance, there is a lot of resources if you just know where to start, magic is for everybody, it doesn't requires any age limit, all you need to know is the right stuff for you.
So here it is, my simple approach to Paul Harris Magic Trick called “Reset”.

Pagpasensyahan niyo na ang low quality ng video kasi sobrang laki niya, 1.19GB po siya, na kinailangan ko pang e-compress ng e-compress ng e-compress, wuuuuu… pero di parin kasya, kasi sa pagkakalam ko, ang tinatangap ng Blogger na size ng video is only 120mb, kaya napilitian akong magdownload ng coverter at e convert siya into .3gp format, format ng cellphone video yun kung di po kayo familiar. Eh di ko naman ma upload sa Youtube Channel ko, kasi nga sobrang bagal at kupad ng connection namin sa bahay, at sa office naman di naman gumagana ang youtube, kaya no choice ako, good thing yung blogger di nila blinock. Hayst so ayun, sana mapagtyagaan niyo na yang panoorin.
